About Multi Sealer
Description
DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER® is a water based acrylic silica sealer designed to be used as a system; suitable for concrete, cement render and plaster/putty walls finish, requiring a coloured surface sealer with protection against mould, bacteria and yeast within a humid environment when applied over DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL®.
When DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER® is applied over DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® the end user has concrete protection with bacterial control.
How it works
DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER® when applied to the surface bonds to provides a durable surface seal for the suppression of mould.
Note:- For best results 1st apply DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® followed by DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER® which forms a controlled biocide surface providing a full system application.

Yes. All the DEFLECTA® products can be applied to aged concrete (any time after 28 days from time of pour).

No. Only DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL®, DEFLECTA STABILIZER® and DEFLECTA® COOPER CONTROLTM can be applied to new concrete (at the time of pour).

What are the consequences if the surface area to be treated is not cleaned properly before the application?
Possible product performance failure.

To allow the product to penetrate or seal correctly a clean, dust free surface is required

Where can we apply DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER®?
You can apply DEFLECTA MULTI SEALER® to any cementitious/ concrete/ render/ putty wall and ceiling to suppress mould growth.

Can anyone apply the product?
Yes. Although training and certification is required to apply the products on commercial projects.

Can the DEFLECTA® products be used internally and externally?
DEFLECTA SURFACE BINDER®, DEFLECTA MOISTURE SUPPRESSANT® and DEFLECTA HEALTH SEAL® are manufactured for internal surface applications, all other products can be applied to internal or external surface areas.
