Animal Husbandry
From time to time severe outbreaks of infectious disease occur within Animal husbandry - Equine, Avian, Piggery, Poultry, Cattery and Dog facilities. Organisations are now receiving peace of mind that levels of infectious disease that are harming and affecting the animals within the facilities have another level of protection against biofilm.
Deflecta is assisting in prevention and control of bacterial and infectious disease in areas such as horse stables, abattoirs, dog training facilities, aviaries farming animals and many more.
In particular when DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® is applied to aged concrete, it purges residual waste, odours and animal body fluids from the concrete substrate and where applicable from vertical concrete surfaces.

DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® is government certified (APVMA approval no. 60195/56867) to kill bacteria/pathogens with a 99.99% kill rate for Golden Staph, E-coli, Listeria and Salmonella on and within the concrete matrix. It will stay active killing these bacteria/pathogens for a minimum of 5 years.
It produces a sanitised environment on the surface and within the concrete matrix with an internal moisture suppressant – the best solution for bacterial control and mould suppression.
DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® will prevent unwanted fluids entering new concrete and purging containments and odours that are held within the existing concrete matrix and a continuous sanitising process.
